NJLLA Annual Holiday Party (Virtual!) 🗓

Come gather for a fun holiday celebration, featuring a craft led by our own Leigh DeProspo, games and good conversation!  Festive outfits are encouraged and prizes will be awarded!

Social Hour: Networking & Trivia 🗓

Join us for a fun event on Zoom, where we will check in with each other and start a new year of NJLLA programming.  We’ll also have a friendly little trivia competition with prizes!

Community Service Project: Our traditional November service project involves collecting food and monetary donations for a local food pantry or Community FoodBank of New Jersey (https://cfbnj.org/).  If you can, consider making a donation with this in mind. Book Club Recap – “American Dirt”

The NJLLA Book Club met on April 8, 2021 to discuss the book “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins. Gayle Lynn-Nelson was the moderator and was well prepared with a number of good discussion topics and questions for the group. Lively discussions ensued about the characters and the author, who has been the focus of some controversy. Overall, the attendees agreed that it’s a very good read, especially if you don’t know about the author first. Look for the next book club gathering in the summer of 2021.
